[COMPANY LEGAL NAME],
[COMPANY NUMBER], [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS],
[CONTACT EMAIL] and [GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION].
These terms govern your use of the CatalystIQ dashboard operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (“we”, “us”). By using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
CatalystIQ aggregates publicly available clinical, regulatory and patent information — from sources including the ClinicalTrials.gov registry, openFDA, the FDA Orange Book, patent offices, scientific literature and news feeds — and derives summaries, a catalyst calendar, patent-cliff exposure and, optionally, an AI-generated analyst brief.
The dashboard and its data are open to everyone — no account is needed to read them. An account is required only for the optional parts of the service: alert delivery, watchlists, and your own settings and plan. You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential — you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that we reasonably believe is being used to attack the service or another user, or where we are required to by law.
We may ask you to verify your email address before alerts are delivered, because an alert sent to an unverified address would be a security risk. Verification is not required to use the dashboard. You may delete your account at any time — see the Privacy Notice for what happens to your data when you do.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page and exclude any applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the subscription does not renew. We do not automatically pro-rate a part-used period.
Refunds. [STATE YOUR REFUND POLICY — e.g. “If you are not
satisfied, contact us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.”]
Nothing in this section affects statutory rights you have as a consumer, including any
right of withdrawal that applies in your jurisdiction.
Changes. We may change plan prices or features. We will give reasonable notice before a change takes effect on your subscription, and you may cancel before it does.
The CatalystIQ software is free and open-source software licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. Your rights to the source code are set out in that licence, which is included with the software. Nothing in these terms restricts rights you have under that licence.
Clinical trial records, regulatory submissions, patent data and headlines belong to their original publishers and are subject to their terms. Public registries are updated at their own cadence and can be incomplete, delayed, superseded or wrong. Derived values — including completion dates, review windows and expiry dates — are our interpretation, not the publisher's official statement. Verify anything material against the primary source.
Where the optional AI layer is enabled, the analyst brief is generated by a large-language model and is labelled as such in the interface. Generated output can be incorrect, out of date or misleading, and must be reviewed by a competent person before you act on it. It is not a research report and must not be presented or redistributed as advice.
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, complete or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw it at any time. Some upstream sources rate-limit or fail periodically; the service degrades rather than guaranteeing coverage.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations, express or implied, including any implied warranty of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, trading loss, business, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the service — including any loss arising from reliance on a derived catalyst date, a missed or misclassified event, or AI-generated content.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
CatalystIQ is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Do not use it to make decisions about your own or anyone else's health or treatment.
CatalystIQ is an information tool. Nothing in it — including the catalyst calendar, the patent-cliff analysis, the pipeline-versus-price correlation, or any AI-generated analyst brief — is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security or financial instrument. We are not authorised or regulated to provide investment advice. Market data is sourced from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions, and you should take appropriate professional advice before acting. See also the limitation of liability in section 9.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. Where you pay for a plan, refund and cancellation terms are set out in section 2b, together with the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services and the conditions under which it is lost.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the version and effective date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION], and
the courts of [JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction.
